WordPress provides an easy-to-use editor tag for creating page links in your posts. When your readers click these links, they can page through the post. This is helpful in specific situations or where you content is really long - in most cases it is best to keep the entire post on one page and allow scrolling for SEO. The following steps will walk you through the trick shown in the above tutorial video.
1. In the post editor, click the Text tab, then place your cursor where you want the page links to appear. This is typically two blank lines below what will be the last paragraph on that page.
2. Copy and paste the following editor tag:

4. Click Update/Publish. The pagination should automatically show up. Note: make sure that you are using the Text view rather than Visual view in your post editor!
